Following a comprehensive onsite consultation, you will receive detailed recommendations tailored to the way you live, your renovation priorities and the outcome you are working towards.
Rather than considering each room in isolation, the report looks at how the home works as a whole and how individual decisions may affect the next.

Both services provide independent advice before the design, quoting and construction process begins.

Not ready to commit to the full report? Begin with the Property Strategy Session.
If you decide within seven days that you would benefit from a complete Renovation Strategy Report, you can upgrade by paying the $700 difference.
This gives you the freedom to start with clear advice and choose the level of support you need once we have walked through the property together.
Independent advice comes first
Builders, designers and suppliers each bring valuable expertise to a renovation. Their advice, however, naturally reflects the service they provide.
Before You Renovate sits before that process.
The focus is not on selling you more work. It is on helping you make informed decisions about the property before plans are drawn, products are selected or quotes are accepted.
You may discover that your home requires a larger rethink.
You may also discover that you can achieve the result you want by doing far less.
Sometimes the smartest move is doing less, but doing it well.
What is outside the scope
Before You Renovate provides independent renovation strategy and property advisory services. The following are not included:
- Architectural or measured drawings
- Detailed interior design selections
- Engineering or building certification
- Formal construction estimates
- Quantity surveying
- Property valuations
- Planning or development approvals
- Builder or trade quotations
- Project management
- Interior design and staging
Where further specialist advice may be required, this will be identified during the consultation.
Sunshine Coast consultations
Consultations are available throughout the Sunshine Coast standard service area.
The listed prices apply to a standard single residential property. Additional travel fees or a tailored quotation may apply for acreage properties, dual dwellings, homes larger than 4 bedrooms or more complex sites.
